Trim Levels & Performance

Models in the Ford Explorer inventory include the Explorer XLT, the Explorer Limited, the Explorer Platinum, and the all-new Explorer ST, the most powerful Explorer model that has ever been rolled out. The standard trailer sway control will adjust engine power and activates brakes when necessary, helping to control the trailer as you drive to Haithco Lake. The power the Explorer has enables it to tow up to 5,600 pounds if properly equipped. Options in the trailer tow package include the Class III, available with the 3.3L hybrid and 2.3L EcoBoost engines. The Explorer comes standard with the 3.0L EcoBoost engine.

Seating and Cargo Space. With the second and third-row seats up, the Explorer can seat up to seven passengers. The cargo area behind the seats is spacious, but if more room is needed, up to 87 cubic feet of cargo space can be made behind the first row.

Sound System. Featured is the 12-speaker standard Bang & Olufsen (B&O) Sound System. To really pump up the volume, there is an optional 14-speaker, 980-watt system, available with the Premium Technology Package. This will allow you to jam out to your favorite music as you drive around Bay City.
